Anime Figure & Collectibles News Roundup — April 7, 2026

Welcome back to OneFigures' weekly roundup — your single source for every collectible announcement, drop, and reveal that matters to Indian collectors. This week: Bearbrick's summer lineup gets official dates, MAFEX drops three major reveals, Gunpla's April schedule goes live, Pop Mart's Labubu × Sanrio collaboration sells out in markets worldwide, and the Spring 2026 anime season kicks off with massive figure potential. Let's get into it.

Bearbrick: Summer 2026 Lineup Gets Official Release Dates

Medicom Toy has confirmed shipping windows for several highly anticipated BE@RBRICK releases:

  • BE@RBRICK WOODY 400% — Shipping July 2026. The Toy Story cowboy in Bearbrick form. Expected India landed price: ₹12,000–₹16,000 for the 400%.
  • BE@RBRICK Winnie the Pooh COSTUME Ver. (ORIGINAL) 400% — Shipping August 2026. A costume-style Pooh Bear that's going to be a shelf centrepiece. India estimate: ₹12,000–₹16,000.
  • BE@RBRICK TONY THE TIGER COSTUME Ver. 400% & 1000% — Shipping August 2026. The Kellogg's mascot gets the Bearbrick treatment. The 1000% is the collector's piece here — expect ₹45,000–₹65,000 for the large format in India.
  • MLB × PEANUTS BE@RBRICK SNOOPY (LOS ANGELES DODGERS) 100%, 400% & 1000% — Shipping July 2026. Snoopy in a Dodgers uniform. Sports × pop culture crossover with strong international appeal.

India angle: The Bearbrick × Tamagotchi 30th Anniversary collab that dropped in January continues to sell at premium on secondary markets. The 400% figure (retail ¥19,800 / ~₹12,000) is trading at 1.5–2x on StockX. If you want the summer drops at retail, start identifying your import channel now — once these ship, they don't restock.

MAFEX: Three Major Reveals for 2027 Shipping

Medicom's MAFEX line — the gold standard for 6-inch action figures — revealed three new additions last week at Toyark:

  • MAFEX Joker (The Joker Movie) — Joaquin Phoenix's Arthur Fleck gets the MAFEX treatment. Scheduled for January 2027 shipping. Expect exceptional face sculpt and suit tailoring detail.
  • MAFEX Stealth Suit Aquaman (Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom) — The black stealth suit from the sequel. January 2027.
  • MAFEX Black and Gold Suit Spider-Man (No Way Home) — The black and gold reversed suit. January 2027.

These join an already stacked 2026 MAFEX pipeline: Gambit (X-Men Comics), Brown Suit Wolverine (Deadpool & Wolverine), Battle-Damaged Batman (Batman: Hush), Ra's al Ghul, Black Manta, Peacemaker, and Bloodsport.

India pricing context: MAFEX figures typically land in India at ₹10,000–₹18,000. Pre-orders through Japanese retailers (AmiAmi, HobbyLink Japan) offer the best prices before Indian import markup. Read our MAFEX vs SHF vs Figma comparison if you're deciding which premium line to invest in.

Gunpla: April 2026 Release Schedule Confirmed

Bandai Hobby has published the official April 2026 Gunpla lineup, and it's headlined by two significant kits:

HG 1/144 Alyzeus

This is being called the most ambitious High Grade kit ever made. It's massive for an HG, and features four transformation configurations: MS Mode, Flight Form, Half-Destroyed State, and a separated Mass Production Nu Gundam. Comes with a dedicated display base, beam sabers, prototype beam rifle, and extra armour components. This is an event kit — the kind that sells out on release day.

HG 1/144 Xi Gundam (Hathaway: The Sorcery of Nymph Circe Ver.)

An updated Xi Gundam tied to the new Hathaway movie continuation. New armaments designed to recreate scenes from the film. If you built the original HG Xi Gundam, this is the upgrade.

RE/100 AMX-107 Bawoo

A 1/100 scale Bawoo at ¥4,290. The RE/100 line offers more detail than HG at a step below Master Grade — good middle ground for Indian builders who want size without MG complexity.

Retail date: Saturday, April 25, 2026 at hobby shops and major retailers.

India pricing: HG kits typically land at ₹1,500–₹4,000 in India, but the Alyzeus will likely be at the higher end (₹3,500–₹5,000+) given its size and complexity. Check our Gundam beginner's guide if you're new to Gunpla.

Pop Mart: Labubu × Sanrio Is Everywhere (Except India, Sort Of)

The Labubu × Sanrio Characters collaboration has officially launched globally, and it's exactly as chaotic as expected. The Vinyl Plush Pendant Blind Box ($39.99 retail) features six designs — Labubu as Hello Kitty, My Melody, Cinnamoroll, Pompompurin, Kuromi, and Pochacco — plus one secret variant that's already reselling for 5x on StockX.

Singapore had the first physical launch with selected outlets, and the line sold out within hours. The Vinyl Plush Doll (larger format) is also available.

India availability: Tata Cliq Luxury and Kicks Machine are expected to stock the Sanrio line. Flipkart third-party sellers will likely have units at markup. If you're serious about retail pricing, the Pop Mart official website ships to India — budget ₹1,500–₹3,000 for international shipping plus customs.

In other Pop Mart news, the Labubu × FIFA World Cup 2026 collection has been announced, featuring a vinyl plush doll, pendant blind box, and bottle-opener fridge magnet blind box. Given India's cricket-to-football crossover audience, this could be a sleeper hit.

Spring 2026 Anime Season Kicks Off — What Collectors Should Watch

The Spring 2026 anime season is now officially underway, and several premieres have figure collectors paying attention:

  • Daemons of the Shadow Realm — Premiered April 4. From Hiromu Arakawa (Fullmetal Alchemist). If this hits, early figures will be gold. No figure announcements yet — that's the opportunity.
  • Re:Zero Season 4 — Rem and Emilia figures will see a demand spike. Pre-existing stock is the play — buy now before the anime markup.
  • That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 4 — Plus a movie on May 1. Double Rimuru content means double figure demand.
  • Witch Hat Atelier — The most beautiful manga getting animated. Pop Up Parade and scale figures are a matter of when, not if.
  • One Piece (Elbaf Arc) — The arc fans have waited 25+ years for. New setting = new figure designs.
  • Dorohedoro Season 2 — Cult classic returns. Nendoroid Caiman prices will spike — if you want one, the time is now.

We've published a full Spring 2026 anime figure guide with detailed breakdowns for each show.

Quick Hits

  • Wonder Festival US — WonFes is coming to the United States for the first time via a partnership with MomoCon 2026. This is historic — Japan's biggest figure exhibition going international could eventually mean an India edition.
  • MGSD Gundam Aerial — Confirmed for the April–June 2026 window. The Witch from Mercury's lead Gundam in the Master Grade Super Deformed format.
  • Evangelion 30th Anniversary — SH Figuarts Shinji Ikari plug suit edition has dropped for the anniversary. Premium collectors should also watch for METAL BUILD EVA units.
  • Pop Mart "Have A Good Run 2026" — Leaked images of a new athletic-themed blind box series featuring Labubu, Skullpanda, and more. Not officially confirmed yet.

This Week's Collector Action Items

  1. Pre-order alert: HG Alyzeus ships April 25. If you want it from a Japanese retailer at retail price, pre-order windows may close soon.
  2. Buy now before anime markup: Re:Zero figures (especially Rem), Dorohedoro Nendoroids, and Slime Rimuru figures will all see price increases as their respective shows air.
  3. Track Labubu × Sanrio India availability: Check Tata Cliq Luxury and Kicks Machine daily. These will sell out fast when they land.
  4. Watch Daemons of the Shadow Realm Episode 1: If this show connects with you, you're getting in on the ground floor of what could be the next FMA-level franchise.
